Cooper is a 7 year old, Australian Shepherd and certified Emotional Support Animal. 

Meaning he provides relief to individuals that are experiencing emotions such as: Anxiety, Depression, or Grief.

If you see or hear him, he’d be more than glad to meet you and your family.

Owner/ Licensed Funeral Director, Type 3

Funeral service professional with over 38 years of experience!

John believes in providing his clients and their families with exceptional service delivered with care, compassion, dignity, personalization and respect.  From the first phone call, to arrangements, funeral services, and even aftercare, he aims for 100% satisfaction to all.  Each and every family deserves the best and the best is what each family receives.

He enjoys baking, cooking, listening to music from Barbra Streisand to Tina Turner, gardening and collecting artwork of Thomas Kinkade.

Loves the Boston Red Sox too!

Craig P. Drolette

Owner/ Licensed Funeral Director, Type 3

Funeral service professional with over 11 years of experience!

Graduated from F.I.N.E. Mortuary College, Class of 2020.

Craig takes pride in his father’s tradition of providing monumental care and comfort to the clients, their families, and all of those within the community during their time of loss.

He enjoys golfing, playing video games, and listening to music, specifically, Machine Gun Kelly!

Funeral Home Assistant

Full-time employee, working closely with both, John and Craig to provide a meaningful tribute for your loved one. 


Brandon is a team player and goes the extra mile to ensure your family has top quality products such as, acknowledgement cards, register books, USB flash drive (for slideshow), poster boards, custom obituary themes, prayer cards and even bookmarks!


He enjoys playing all video games.

Gerald “Jerry” Thayer

Gerald “Jerry” Thayer

Attendant/ Greeter

Part-time employee, providing support to families and attendees during visiting hours and funeral services, with his outgoing personality.


Jerry is a retired Police Officer/ Detective from the Town of Middleborough and a former member of the Army National Guard.


He is a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge #1274.


Rachel Avila

Rachel Avila

Attendant/ Greeter

Part-time employee, always willing to lend a hand and help our clients, their family and attendees during visiting hours and/or funeral services.

She loves to bake, listen to country music, watch “Everybody Loves Raymond” and care for her family and pets.

Absolutely loves everything to do with Disney!


Jethro O. Ashley, Jr.

Licensed Funeral Director, Type 6

Founded the Ashley Funeral Home, in February 1970, serving the community for almost 50 years, until he decided to enjoy retirement in December 2018.

Jethro is a Veteran of the United States Army.

He still holds an active funeral directing license with the funeral home!
