In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket / urn in the grave.
However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container, so the grave will not sink in. Either a burial vault or grave liner will satisfy these requirements.
NOTE: Most CEMETERIES in the area DO REQUIRE a solid one-piece cover on the container. We will inform you accordingly.

Finest single-reinforced concrete, with high-impact plastic base, reinforced one-piece lid with raised church windows design, secure seal, name plaque, emblem, and exterior finish painted in two-tone colors and marble look.
Continental
Single-reinforced concrete, plastic-reinforced base, extra strong one-piece lid, secure seal, name plate, emblem, and exterior finish is design painted.
