OBITUARY: (BROCKTON) Woodrow Lee Cushman, aged 72 years, of Middleboro, formerly of Hull, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Bay Pointe Nursing Home, Brockton. He was the husband of Maureen (Shaw) Cushman. He was the son of the late Woodrow James and Gladys (Ames) Cushman. He attended the Massachusetts Auto Technician School, and had worked as an automotive technician for Sullivan Tire, for 24 years. Woodrow was a history buff and was proud to be a United States Navy veteran. He also enjoyed writing poetry and was a collector of Red Sox memorabilia. Survivors include his wife, Maureen, two sons, Philip Lee Cushman and Cheryl of Dover, MA, and Woodrow James Cushman and his wife Paula of Plympton, two daughters, Donna M. Cushman and her husband Tom Mendall of Quincy, and Kathleen Anzalone and her husband Tony of Pembroke, a brother, Kenneth Cushman of ME, a sister, Hazel Belanger of CT, 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Shawna, Kara, Shawn, and Katie, several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 12th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St Middleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St Middleboro, at 10 am. Burial will take place in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
