Virginia Teceno

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Virginia Marie Teceno, aged 79, of Middleboro, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Morton Hospital, Taunton. She was the beloved wife of Leonard S. Teceno, they had been married for 59 years. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Michael S. and Ruth Scanlon. She was a graduate of Canton High School. Virginia was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. Her greatest joy was making a home for her family, children, and dogs. She also enjoyed Bingo. Survivors include a daughter, Lenora and her husband John Hebert, grandson, John J. Hebert Jr., great-granddaughter, Eva T. Hebert, all of Middleboro; two brothers, Robert and James Scanlon, sisters, Michelle and her husband Edward O'Keefe of Taunton, the late Carol Tierney, Patricia Callery, Deborah Scanlon. She will be warmheartedly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. At the request of the family, funeral services are private. Arrangements are being handled by the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro.
