Virginia S. (Dunham) Stelmach, age 71, of North Easton, died on Sunday, January 15, 2023 surrounded by family at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Middleborough, she was the daughter of the late Harold & Emma (Reed) Dunham. Virginia grew up in Lakeville and relocated to Raynham, where she made her home and raised her family. She was a proud graduate of the Northeastern University-Tufts, dental assisting program, class of 1970. Virginia was extremely involved with both of her sons' educations, from their time in the classroom to their sporting events. She adored spending time with family and looked forward to frequent trips to Ogunquit, Maine with her husband Matt. They both spent many years together and shared lots of memories, from lobster dinners to playing games with each other on their phones! In her more recent years, Virginia was enthusiastic about gardening and caring for her rose bushes. She enjoyed visiting the beach, whether it was the Plymouth waterfront, the Cape Cod Canal or even a glimpse of the ocean from the comfort of her prior residence in Marion.
Virginia was the beloved wife of Matthew Stelmach of North Easton; loving mother of Gregory Stelmach & his wife Taryn of Swansea; David Stelmach & his wife Melissa of South Easton; cherished grandmother (Grammy) of Brayden, Avery, Devin and Gavin; and dear sister-in-law to Jay Stelmach. She is also survived by an aunt, nephew and cousins.
