Virginia I. Reimels, age 79, of Middleborough, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at her home.
Born in Quincy on July 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Mae (Sewell) Reimels & John Walter Reimels, Jr. She was a loving, kind, spontaneous, ambitious, insightful, honest, free spirit who loved life! Virginia had a passion to cook, garden and loved to can. She was an incredibly loving mother and was devoted to her family. After her children were grown, she worked as a realtor and an electronics soldering technician before retiring.
Virginia is survived by her children: Robert J. Cavacco, Jr., Penny L. Cavacco, Beth Cavacco-Pratt and Robin Borges; grandchildren: Ryan Cavacco, James Pratt, Jr., Amanda Pratt, Jessica Cavacco-Pratt, Devon Cavacco-Pratt, Kristen Pratt, Jennifer Rockwell, Joshua Szleiger, Raven Garcia, Nicholas Szleiger, Kenny Costa, Tayler Shea, Scotty Costa; many great-grandchildren; siblings: David L. Reimels, Beverly Braswell and Harriott Joseph; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There are NO visiting hours.
Funeral and Interment Services are private.
