Virginia V. (Reynolds) Burnham, age 95, of East Taunton, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Virginia was born and grew up in East Taunton. She was the daughter of the late Oliver N. & Viola N. (Westgate) Reynolds. For years, Virginia worked in the Plymouth Shoe Factory. She was very active with the Women's Auxiliary with the American Legion Post in Berkley. Virginia volunteered and did whatever was needed; she was always on the "go" helping out. She also travelled around the United States with the Auxiliary, enjoying the company with good friends and visits to the various states. Virginia was fortunate to lead an active and full life!
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Burnham; loving mother of Paula Burch & her husband Wayne of East Taunton, Mary Lou Lee of Fort Myers, Florida, the late Sheila Duarte & her late husband Lawrence, and the late Kenneth Burnham, Jr.; loving grandmother of Justin, Wayne Jr., John, Corrie, Tammy, Kimberly and great-grandmother of 15; dear sister of Wilma Braga of Taunton and Raymond Reynolds of East Taunton.
Family and friends are invited to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
All are welcome to the Graveside Services at the Precinct Cemetery, Rhode Island Road, Route 79, Lakeville, on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM.
