Victor A. Clarke, age 88, of Middleborough, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Milton, he was the son of the late Victor & Anna (Misaner) Clarke. Victor grew up in Randolph, was a graduate of Randolph High School and continued his education at Northeastern University in Boston earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Pneumatic Scale Corporation in Quincy and later for Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge, retiring after many years.
Victor loved the outdoors, especially camping; his family camped for over 50 years at the Blueberry Hill Campground in Plymouth. He also enjoyed whittling, square dancing, playing the guitar, singing and woodworking; he was very skillful, making furniture, doll houses, dollhouse furniture and birdhouses. Victor was a passionate and dedicated fan of the New England Patriots. He loved being the "Pop" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with them. Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and provider. He was an all-around "great guy" and will be missed.
Victor was the beloved husband for 64 years to Elizabeth (Petersen) Clarke; loving father of John Clarke & his wife Doreen of Mansfield, Sharon Semas & her husband Steve of Middleborough, and the late Susan Clarke; cherished "Pop" to grandchildren: John, Shawn, Madeleine, Nolan, Isabelle, Julia and Sarah; and great-grandchildren: Jaxton and William.
