Tony (Meatball) DeMarco, age 40, of Middleborough, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Born in South Weymouth, he grew up in Middleborough. Tony had a strong passion for hockey and baseball; he played Middleborough Little League and hockey for the Taunton Bruins. He was an Assistant Coach for the Ice Hockey Bantam A Team for three years, was an Assistant Coach for the Middleborough Little League Baseball for two years and an Assistant Coach of the Ice Hockey Mites AA for a year. He enjoyed eating his favorite foods, especially anything Italian. Tony had a great sense of humour, was very kind-hearted and generous; he was loved and will be missed by many.
Tony was the cherished son of Anne (Cahill) Larson & her husband Andy of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and John DeMarco & his wife Linda of Brockton; beloved partner of Katie Caira of Middleborough; loving father of Jennifer DeMarco of New Bedford, AJ DeMarco, Owen DeMarco, Jackson DeMarco, Gino DeMarco and Gabby DeMarco all of Middleborough; dear brother of John DeMarco of Abington, Danielle DeMarco of Brockton, Andrew Larson of Connecticut, Sean Larson & his wife Tiffany of Connecticut and Renee Glennon & her husband Shawn of Connecticut. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service starting at 7:00 PM.
Interment services will be private.
