Thomas "Tom" G. Wentworth

Thomas "Tom" G. Wentworth, age 60, of Celebration, Florida, died on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at his beautiful Florida home surrounded by his loving family. 

Tom was the son of the late Bill & Thelma Wentworth, formerly of Middleborough.  He graduated from Middleborough High School in 1980.  He began his own business with his wife shortly after he married.  He lived what he called “his dream life” for the next 30 years. Tom and his brother Dan recently renovated their parents cottage on Woods Pond, where Tom planned to spend his summers. 

Tom was the beloved husband of Aida (Freitas) Wentworth; loving and devoted father of Drew Wentworth and Randy Wentworth; dear brother of Dan & Michelle Wentworth of Middleborough and Mike & Diane Burke of Middleborough. He was predeceased by his sister Debra Brower.  Brother-in-law to Ted Brower and Joe Freitas & his fiancée Odete Barros of Taunton.  He was also the loving uncle to seven nephews all from Middleborough.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 PM, followed by a prayer service starting at 6:00 PM. 

Interment services will be private.
