Teri (Theresa) E. Murray

Teri (Theresa) E. Murray, age 43, of Lakeville, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Born in Taunton, she attended the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School in Rochester.  Teri worked various jobs; her true passion was working in the field of cosmetology.  In her free time, she could be found outdoors enjoying nature.  She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as kayaking and in warm weather relaxing and sitting by the pool.  Teri was a huge admirer of country music, particularly songs by Kane Brown.  She loved to dance, especially with her partner Jason to the song, Tennessee Whiskey.  Teri was devoted to her family and loved her dogs and cats.  She was loved by many and will be missed.

Teri was the cherished daughter of Donna (Johansen) Murray of Lakeville & the late Frank Murray; loving mother of Kaycee Monteiro of Lakeville, Tyllah Monteiro of Lakeville, and Hayleigh Souza of Lakeville; loving partner of Jason Desnoyers of Lakeville; dear step-mother of Devin Desnoyers and adoring Mimi of Asher Desnoyers; cherished granddaughter of Barbara Johansen of Assonet & the late Donald Johansen, and the late Jean Theresa (Sargent) & Francis J. Murray, Jr.  She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, with a Prayer Service starting at 6:00 PM.

Interment services will be private.
