Stephen M. Grant

Stephen M. Grant, age 59, of Middleborough, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert & Zelda (Slade) Grant.  For many years, Steve worked in the computer industry, holding various IT jobs.  He was a sports enthusiast; loved the Boston Bruins and was thrilled when he met the legendary Bruins player, Bobby Orr.  Steve also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox.  Steve had a big heart, always there for his family, enjoyed cooking and loved music especially the Beatles.  He will be missed very much.

Stephen was the beloved husband of Donna (Averill) Grant; loving father of Michael Grant of Middleborough; dear brother of Frederick Grant & his wife Donna of Albrightsville, PA, James Grant of Brockton, Carol Duclose of Swampscott, Patrick Grant & his wife Judy of Medford, the late Robert Grant & his surviving wife Debbi, the late Donna Ponds & her surviving husband Herb, the late John Grant & his surviving wife Jeanne; dear brother-in-law of Brenda Conroy & her husband Bill of Ludlow and Barbara Vanderwell & her husband Jeff of Washington.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be NO visiting hours.

All are invited to his funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Isidore Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM.

Interment services will be private.
