Sheldon Reynolds

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Sheldon E. Reynolds Sr., aged 88 years, of Middleboro, died on August 3, 2016, at Morton Hospital, Taunton. He was born in Taunton, son of the late Leon and Luella (Blanchard) Reynolds. He was a retired groundskeeper at the Lakeville State Hospital. His hobbies included working on lawn-mowers. He enjoyed dancing, and country music. Survivors include his companion of many years, Barbara E. Travassos; two sons, Sheldon E. Jr. and his wife Wendy Reynolds, of Raynham, Gary L. and his wife Patty Reynolds, of South Carolina; a daughter, Yvonne "Tracy" Burch, of Carver; three brothers, David and his wife Joanne Reynolds, of Swamscott, Wayne and his wife Judy Reynolds, of Lakeville, Edward Reynolds, of Taunton; a sister, Hilda Griswald, of Middleboro; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. He was father of the late Robert Reynolds Sr., and grandfather of the late Sheldon E. Reynolds III. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 12th from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro.
