Romeo R. Gravel, III

Romeo R. Gravel, III, age 62, of Berkley, passed on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the  Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born in Rough & Ready, California, he was the son of the late Anne ‘Nancy’ (Houston) & Romeo Gravel, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie (Archer) Gravel; his son Romeo Gravel, IV & his girlfriend Nicole Correira, daughter Holly & her husband Kevin Jochim; two sisters, Patricia Rushton & her husband Bradley and Nicole Rutkowski & her husband Marek; two brothers, Scott Gravel & his wife Linda and Thomas Gravel; his nieces and nephews, Stephen Rushton, Samantha Craig, Stephanie Akusis, Scott Gravel, Jr., Amanda Rutkowski, Marek Rutkowski and Danica Rutkowski; and his great-nieces, Aubrey and Abigail Rushton, Macie and Teagan Craig.  He was predeceased by a sister, Debra.

Romeo was an avid hunter and spent many hours out in the woods.  He would offer to help anyone in need and loved his family immensely.  Romeo was a retired member of Sheetmetal Local #17.  He always said, don’t be sad for me, I had a great run.  And that he did.  He lived by his rules and went out on his terms.

Funeral and Interment Services will be private.
