Robert "BOB" James Gianunzio, Sr.

Robert James Gianunzio, Sr., “Bob”, age 72, of Middleborough, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Lakeville.

Robert was born in Brockton, to the late John M. and Angie R. (Sgro) Gianunzio on March 16, 1950.  He went to Brockton High School and graduated in 1968.  Robert went on to serve in the Army National Guard.  After his honorable discharge in 1976, Robert worked as an electrician.  Most recently, he was employed by P.E.C. (Professional Electrical Contractors) in Canton.  Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and those he cared about most.  He loved classic cars and enjoyed going to Cruise Nights and working on his classic Chevy Corvette. 

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Gianunzio, Jr. and his wife, Teryn of New Bedford.  He is also survived by several friends and cousins.  Robert is predeceased by his wife, Joan and his daughter, Nicole.
