Rita DeCoff Obituary

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Rita L. (Wilbur) DeCoff, aged 79 years, longtime resident of Middleboro, died on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Nemasket HealthCare Center, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Clifford G. DeCoff Jr.; they had been married for 60 years. Born in Raynham; daughter of the late Alden and Florence (Westgate) Wilbur. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church, Middleboro, for many years. She was employed at the Walker Company and had been employed as an assembler at Winthrop-Atkins for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Clifford; a sister, Ruthie Holmberg of Whittensville, two grandchildren, Gary I DeCoff of Taunton, and Jeana Morasca of East Taunton; 5 great-grandchildren, Collin DeCoff, of Middleboro, Reilly, and Liam DeCoff, both of FL, Elena Morasca and Noah Morasca, both of East Taunton; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was the mother of the late Clifford I. DeCoff. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 20th from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21st at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery, Lakeville.
