OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Philip C. Iampietro Jr., aged 81, lifelong resident of Middleboro, passed away on January 13, 2016, at Nemasket Health Care Center, Middleboro. Philip was born in Middleboro; son of the late Philip C. and Carmella M. (Capuano) Iampietro. He was a graduate of Middleboro Memorial High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He served in the United States Army. He was a retired salesman, having worked for the family business, Nemasket Transportation, and later for other companies. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. He was a life member of the Middleboro Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid stamp collector. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Iampietro and Julie Iampietro; two sisters, Mafalda Wills and Mary Brogenhammer; three grandchildren, Timothy Bryant Jr., Nydia Jhennae, Deven Jhennae. He was father of the late Scott P. Iampietro. A funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St. Middleboro, on Wednesday, January 20th at 10 am. Following the Mass, everyone is invited back to the Middleboro Lodge of Elks. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
