Paul Newton

OBITUARY: (BROCKTON) Paul W. Newton, aged 76 years, of Brockton, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Mary E. (Davidson) Newton, of 47 years. Born in Boston; son of the late Lawrence and Janet (Boleison) Newton. He was a foreman at Parry Footwear for many years, and most recently as a building supervisor for the Weymouth Police Department for the last 20 years. He enjoyed watching TV, especially football. Survivors include his wife Mary, a son, Christopher Newton of Taunton, a daughter, Diana and her husband Mark Hayes of Brockton, sisters, Patricia Abraham of CO, Margaret Clemente of Newton, two sister-in-law's, Carol Newton of AZ, and Ann Marie Newton of Taunton, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Lawrence Newton, Robert Newton, Arthur Newton. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 30th from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 31st at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro.
