Patsy Ann (Bish) Morris

Patsy Ann (Bish) Morris, Age 86, of Middleborough, fell asleep in death on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Patsy was born April 7, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James L. Bish and Mary E. (Dorsey) Bish.  She was predeceased by her seven siblings.  Patsy attended school in Norwood, Ohio.  As a teenager, she worked at the USA Playing Card Factory. Shortly after, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1950. Patsy loved the Bible.  She loved her volunteer work in the ministry, and sharing the Bible’s hope for the future. She had many passions and her ingenuity shone through in her home cooked meals and handcrafted sewing.  Her cozy home was open to all where she enjoyed doting on her guests, at their favorite spot, the back porch.  Her unselfish love was effortless.

She married the love of her life, Henry F. Morris, who she remained faithfully married to for 60 years, until his death seven years ago.  Together they had five children; Stephanie (Morris) Bartlett and her husband Errol Bartlett of Venice, Florida, Lisa (Morris) Eldredge and her husband Paul Eldredge of Harwichport, Barton Morris and his wife Emily (Hammond) of Brewster, Matthew Morris of Middleborough, Nicole (Morris) Proctor and her husband Frank Proctor of Lakeville. Patsy adored her ten precious grandchildren; Tara, Kimi, Kristina, Lacy, Colby, Evan, Anabelle, Jack, Jake and Chloe in addition to nine great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She also appreciated her many friends and caretakers especially her sweet friend Debbie Hoyt.

Patsy cherished being with her family more than anything else in the world.  It was so easy for her to light up a room or bring a smile to everyone’s face, to laugh and feel joy.  She made everyone feel like family.  She was the sweetest.

A celebration of her life will be held virtually, on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM on zoom.  The celebration will be given by The Middleboro Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
