Patrick "PAT" J. Houlihan

Patrick "Pat" J. Houlihan, age 59, of Middleborough, died on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Middleborough, Pat was the son of the late Richard & Dorothea (Brown) Houlihan, and a graduate of Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, Class of 1981.  All of his life, he worked on cars; if something was wrong with a car, he could figure out the problem and fix it!  Pat worked at Middleborough Auto Salvage for 18 years, at Turnpike Transmission in Bridgewater for several years and later at Hank Zion's Auto Salvage in Middleborough for several years until retirement.  He was a lifetime member of the Mitchell Club in Middleborough and worked there as the "Facilities Superintendent".  Pat enjoyed the outdoors; riding his Harley motorcycle, fishing, snowmobiling, and was an animal lover.  He got great pleasure watching his television shows; he watched Days of Our Lives, WWE Wrestling and the NASCAR races.  Pat also enjoyed listening to country music.

Pat was the beloved husband of Maureen (McCarthy) Houlihan; loving father of Bridget Houlihan of Bridgewater, Patrick Houlihan, Jr. of Middleborough and Erin Houlihan of Middleborough; dear brother of Debbi-Lou Houlihan of Florida, Marcia Houlihan of Middleborough, Richard Houlihan of Bridgewater and his late twin sister Patricia Houlihan, the late Janice Houlihan and the late Jill Houlihan.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

All are invited to gather at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Friday, November 18, 2002, starting at 9:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Apostles Parish, Our Lady of the Lake Church, 575 Monponsett Street, Route 58, Halifax, at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Wood Street, Middleborough.
