Patricia J. Pollock

Patricia J. (Smith) Pollock, age 95, of Middleborough, died on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleborough. Born in Braintree, she was the daughter of the late Gordon & Elizabeth (Murray) Smith. Patricia married her husband James, and together started raising their family. Over the years, she resided in Braintree, Norwell, York, Maine, Edgewater, Florida and Middleborough. Patricia worked as a secretary with Holiday Publishing in Boston, was the Assistant Town Clerk for the Town of Norwell and was an Office Manager for the York Hospital in York, Maine. She retired to Edgewater, Florida and kept active playing shuffleboard with her husband. Patricia liked to travel and loved her family very much. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late James H. Pollock; loving mother of James H. Pollock, Jr. & his wife Jean of Middleborough and Janice J. Pollock of Andover, Connecticut; devoted grandmother of James H. Pollock, III of Middleborough, Emily Doyle & her husband Matthew of Bedford, New Hampshire, Melinda Wight & her husband Scott of West Virginia, Jason Alix of Connecticut, Jacob Alix of Andover, Connecticut and Shannon Martell & her husband Darrell of Colchester, Connecticut; devoted great-grandmother of Cameron and Margaret Doyle, Ryan, Grace, Kyle, Lena and Josie Martell; dear sister-in-law of Bill & Vivian Pollock of Connecticut. Family and Friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 4:00-6:00 PM. (LIMIT OF 50 PEOPLE INSIDE FUNERAL HOME AT ANY GIVEN TIME) DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, A FACE MASK MUST BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.
