Michael Pratt

OBITUARY: (BOSTON) Michael H. Pratt, aged 68, lifelong resident of Middleboro, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Beth Israel Deaconess West Campus, Boston. He was born in Middleboro, son of the late Herbert C. Sr. and Norma F. (Bernier) Pratt. He was a 1966 graduate of Middleboro Memorial High School, and was a retired mechanic, having worked for John's Texaco in South Middleboro. He was Past President of the Mitchell Memorial Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all sports with his grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and her husband Chad Morse, of E. Bridgewater, Rachelle and her husband Ron Hayes, of Middleboro; two brothers, Norman Pratt and William Pratt; two sisters, Doris Scienzo, and Flora Dillon; four grandchildren, Corey Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Leah Hayes, and Melissa Morse; his former wife and best friend, Catherine E. (Rubis) Pratt. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro.
