Michael Kearney

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Michael Joseph Kearney, aged 58, lifelong resident of Middleboro, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home, after a brief illness. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Jean Marie (Kelley) Kearney. He was a graduate of Middleboro Memorial High School, class of 1976. Mike went on to work for Middleboro Gas and Electric, and had been employed for 31 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. He enjoyed fishing and family cookouts, as well as trips to Foxwoods. Mike was affectionately known by all who knew him as Uncle Mike. Survivors include a son, Sean M. Kearney and his girlfriend Elise Edwards, both of Middleboro; a sister, Kathleen M. and her husband John Brady, of Freedom, NH; nephews, David and Jared Keedwell, Robert and William Stanley, Jon Brady; a niece, Deziree Rodriquez-Brady. Mike recently lost his beloved dog, Buster. He was brother of the late Deborah A. Frigeri and Karen M. Stanley. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro.
