Melissa Carroll Obituary

Melissa L. (Evans) Carroll, age 45, of Middleborough, died suddenly, on Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Born in Stoughton, she grew up and attended schools in Middleborough and was a graduate of Middleborough High School, Class of 1995.  Melissa continued her education at Bristol-Plymouth School of Nursing earning her Associate's Degree in Nursing.  For years, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the healthcare industry.  Melissa loved spending time with her daughter, especially going to concerts together.  She liked writing poems, dancing and being up to date with fashions.  Melissa was a history and movie buff too.

Melissa was the loving mother of Julianne Carroll of Taunton; beloved daughter of Michael & Marilyn (Rumsey) Evans of Middleborough; cherished sister of Rachelle Evans of Middleborough and Dawn Evans of Middleborough; dear aunt of Kaitlyn Creamer and Brianna Creamer.  She is also survived by her former husband, David Carroll of Rhode Island; and her adored dog, Emry.

Family and friends are invited to the memorial services at the Central United Methodist Church, 14 School Street, Middleborough, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM.

Interment services will be private.
