Mary M. (Miller) Compton

Mary M. (Miller) Compton, age 97, of Middleborough, died on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleborough.

Born in North Dighton on September 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edward & Helena (Doyle) Miller.  Mary was educated in the Taunton Schools and earned her Dental Nursing Degree at Boston Dental.

Mary was devoted to her family; a fantastic wife and mother!  She loved cooking and gardening.  A lovely lady, she will be missed.

Mary was the beloved wife for 72 years to the late Roy Compton, Sr.; devoted mother of Roy Compton, Jr. & his wife Susan of Rosedale, Maryland and the late Marlene Compton; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Amy and Krystyn; great-grandmother of Julia, Joshua, Dani, Jordin and Taylor; great great-grandmother of two; and dear sister of the late Pat Miller and Shirley Miller.

Family and friends are welcome to the visitation period at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Saturday, April 23, 2002, from 9:00-10:30 AM, followed by a Communion Service at the Church of Our Saviour, 120 Centre Street, Middleborough, at 10:45 AM.

Interment services will be private.
