Marjorie Main

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Marjorie Grace (Pike) Main, aged 88, lifelong resident of Middleboro, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Middleboro. She was the wife of the late Stuart Roland Main, who predeceased her on August 28, 1999; they had been married for 52 years. She was born in Middleboro; daughter of the late Leander Boyd and Grace (MacDonald) Pike. She was a 1947 graduate of Middleboro High School, and was a home-maker. Survivors include four sons, George F. Main, Eugene W. Main, Lawrence L. Main, Douglas E. Main; four daughters, Laura M. VonEuw, Marilyn G. McTerman, Kathleen A. Ferrier, Carol F. Stewart, 20 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Stuart R. Main Jr. She was the youngest of 10 children, all of which have predeceased her. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 10th from 2-4 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, with a prayer service to be held at 4 pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
