Linda C. (Staples) Parkinson

Linda C. (Staples) Parkinson, age 75, of Middleborough, formerly of Carver, died on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Life Care Center in Plymouth.

Born in Rockland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Staples and Barbara Knight.  Linda was a homemaker and her family was very important to her.  She was thrilled when her grandson, Sincere came into her life; she adored and doted on him.  Linda was an animal lover especially of dogs, she cherished her faithful companions, Munchkin and Jenna.  In her free time, Linda enjoyed gardening too.  Linda was a simple person, enjoyed the simple things and lived a simple life.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be missed.

Linda is survived by her son, Mark Smyth of Brockton; her grandson, Sincere J. Smyth of Brockton (and his late mother Rose Ortiz); and her former husband, Richard Parkinson of Maine.  She was the sister of the late Gary Staples and Wayne Staples.

There will be NO visiting hours.

Family and friends are welcome to the Graveside Services at the Final Gift/Angel View Cemetery, 471 Wareham Street, (Route 28), Middleborough, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
