Linda Cheney

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Linda M. (Landry) Cheney, 71, of Middleboro, died on August 4, 2017, at New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton. She was the wife of the late James "Skip" K. Cheney Jr., who predeceased her on March 16, 2009. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Peter A. and Angelina (Marchetti) Landry. She was a longtime employee for Chadwick's of Boston. Survivors include three sons, James and his wife Kim Cheney of Taunton, Kevin Cheney, and Peter Cheney, both of West Bridgewater; a daughter, Linda and her husband Steven White of Middleboro; four brothers, 5 sisters, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved dog Dillon. She was sister of the late Peter Landry, who predeceased her in the Vietnam War. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 8th from 4-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. Burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at a later date.
