Lillian J. (Ferreira) Letourneau

Lillian J. (Ferreira) Letourneau, age 94, of Rochester, formerly of Acushnet, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion.

Born in Fairhaven, she was the daughter of the late John & Lillian (Braley) Ferreira.  Lillian was an avid square dancer and was active with her husband Paul in many square dance associations.  She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, word books and spending time with her many adoring grandchildren.  Since 2013, Lillian resided at the Annie Maxim House in Rochester where she made many dear friends; Lillian will be deeply missed.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Paul Letourneau; devoted mother of Robert Letourneau & his wife Debra of New Bedford, Richard Letourneau of Westport, Raymond Letourneau & his wife Charlene, and the late Roger Letourneau & his surviving wife Diane Letourneau of New Bedford; loving grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 25 and great great-grandmother of two; dear sister of Jeanette Rahl & her husband Don of Fairhaven and the late John Ferreira, Jr.

All are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Thursday, July 21, 2022, starting at 9:45 AM, followed by her funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Isidore Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough, at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Connery Avenue, Bourne, at 12:30 PM.
