Joseph Perrotta

OBITUARY: (TAUNTON) Joseph M. Perrotta, aged 90 years, of Middleboro, died on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Marian Manor, Taunton. He was the beloved husband of Roberta (Archibald) Perrotta. He was the son of the late John Perrotta and Maria (DiCristofaro) Perrotta. Joe was a retired mechanical engineer and served in WWII in the Coast Guard. Joe was a graduate of Northeastern University. He volunteered at the Middleboro COA teaching square dancing and preparing taxes. Joe and Roberta enjoyed family gatherings, dancing and traveling together. He was the devoted father and step-father to Michael Perrotta of Sandwich, James Perrotta and Elaine Devine of Whitman, Joseph and wife Brenda Boileau of Lakeville, Joan and husband Tom Medlar of Middleboro, Marie (Boileau) Callahan, James and wife Kathy Boileau, Linda (Boileau) and husband Ralph Lopez, all of Middleboro. Joe is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St Middleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St Middleboro, on Monday, January 28th at 11:30 am. Burial will take place in the Cemetery at the Green, Middleboro.
