OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Joseph Anthony D'Arrigo, aged 70 years, of Middleboro, passed away April 13, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Judith E. (Chamberlin) D'Arrigo. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John E. and Edna (Jacques) D'Arrigo. He was a 1960 graduate of Brockton High School, and had served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired E.I. Tech for Verizon. He was a member of the local I.B.E.W., the Verizon Pioneers, and the Oak Point Veterans. He enjoyed playing billiards, cards, bowling, and motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. He was an avid animal lover, and joke-ster. Survivors include his wife, Judith, two step-daughters, Leah M. Brown of Middleboro, Cori L. Slade of Bridgewater, two sons, Joseph D'Arrigo of Oklahoma, and Jonathan D'Arrigo of Texas, a daughter, Jessica Sheehan of Grafton, two brothers, John D'Arrigo of CT, and Kenneth D'Arrigo of East Bridgewater, a sister, Janice Harvey of Falmouth, step-mother, Eleanor D'Arrigo of Weymouth, 10 grandchildren, a great-grand-daughter, several nieces and nephews, and his special girl, Kelsie. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 17th in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St Middleboro, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 18th at 10 am.
