John Englehart Obituary

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) John Morris Englehart, aged 86 years, longtime resident of Middleboro, formerly of Boston, died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Golden Living Center at Oak Hill, Middleboro, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Violet (Mahaney) Englehart, who predeceased him in March of 2001. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Edmund and Marion (McGinnis) Englehart. John served his country in the United States Army, serving in WWII and Korea. He was employed as a mechanics helper at the McCormick's Building in Boston, where he worked for over 30 years. He is survived by 5 sons; Robert Englehart of ME, Kenneth Englehart of FL, George Englehart of Seattle, Patrick Englehart of NH, and Paul Englehart of NY, 5 daughters; Virginia Greider of FL, Madeline Englehart of NC, Kelly Green of CT, Elizabeth Thomas and Kathleen Englehart, both of Middleboro, a brother; William Englehart of Walpole, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was the father of the late Michael, Richard, J. Steven, and Edward Englehart. He was brother of the late Robert, James and George Englehart. Visiting hours have been omitted by request. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 8th at 9 am at Holy Family Church, 372 Middleboro Ave. East Taunton. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro.
