Jesse C. Peterson

Jesse Carl Peterson, age 47, of Middleborough, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home.

He was a simple man.  Jesse loved spending time with his family and friends.  He cherished friendships above all.  Jesse enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.  He was a devoted and huge fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Jesse was the beloved son of the late Sandra J. (Vera) Peterson and Carl F. Peterson, III, and the cherished grandson of the late Elizabeth & Vincent Cornelio and the late Grace & Carl F. Peterson, Jr.

Jesse is survived by his loving sister Sarah Peterson of Middleborough; his niece Shayla Brown; his loving and caring three aunts, Sarah Derosier (his Godmother) & her husband David of Middleborough, Carla Turner of Middleborough & her late husband Bill, Cindy Lyman & her husband Bill Hanson of East Bridgewater; his uncle Leonard Vera & his wife Dolly of Yarmouth; his best friend Joe, as well as several cousins and friends.  He was also the nephew of the late Steven Vera.

Family and friends are welcome to the visitation period at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM.

All are invited to his Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Isidore Parish, SACRED HEART CHURCH, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough. at 10:30 AM.

Interment services will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, 163 North Cary Street, Brockton.
