Jeff Smith Obituary

Jeff Smith, age 65, of Brockton, formerly of Lakeville, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton.

Born in Groton, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Kenneth F. Smith and late Patricia (Brown) Keith and grandson of the late Marcella & Manuel Brown formerly of Middleborough.  Jeff grew up in Lakeville, attended Apponequet Regional High School and was an athlete, Prep All-American Football in 1973, and later graduated, a member of the Class of 1974.   He joined the U.S. Army in the late 1970's.  Jeff was an easy-going, generous and a very kind person.  He went out of his way to help people in need; he was good natured.  Jeff was well liked by many and will be missed.

Jeff was the loving father of Jesse Smith & his wife Kristen of Middleborough and Nathan Smith & his fiancee Lindsey Medeiros of Bridgewater; devoted grandfather of Cayla, Hayden, Willow, Wyatt, Jesse, Ryan and Jameson; dear brother of Marcy Smith of Florida, Denise Keith of Florida and the late Timothy Keith and Dennis Keith.  He is also survived by his former wife, Linda (Sullivan) Santos of Middleborough.
