Janet M. (Green) Bianchini

Janet M. (Green) Bianchini, age 75, of Middleborough, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Naples, Florida.

She was born and grew up in the Boston area, a daughter of the late Daniel & Margaret (O'Brien) Green.  Janet was a graduate of Saint Gregory High School in Dorchester, Class of 1967.  Janet's working career started at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester in the Patient's Accounts billing department, where she worked for over 30 years.  From there, she worked at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro as the Director of Patient's Accounts and retired in 2014.  Janet was an avid Boston Sports Fan, cheering for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.  In retirement, Janet kept busy with travelling; she went on many cruises and made five visits to Hawaii.  For the last five years, she was a "snow-bird" and resided mostly in Florida.

Janet was the beloved wife for 54 years to Fred Bianchini; loving mother of Andrea Berlo & her husband Matthew of Norton and the late Tracy Leonardi & her surviving husband Michael Leonardi of Mansfield; adoring grandmother of Abbey Berlo; dear sister of Margaret Gooden & her husband Charley of San Diego, CA, Patricia Green of Quincy, Daniel Green & Kathy Berlo of Sandwich; and dear friend of Charles & Paddy Joy of Florida.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NOON, with a Prayer Service starting at 12:00 NOON.

Interment services will be private.
