Helen Blanchette

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Helen V. (Britton) Blanchette, 77, of Middleboro, died on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Golden Living Center at Oak Hill, Middleboro. She was the wife of the late Raymond Blanchette. She was born in Brockton; daughter of the late Harold W. and Dorothy E. (Williams) Britton. She was a graduate of Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School. She had worked at Components Manufacturing, for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Cherie and her husband Roger Fillion, of Middleboro; a brother, Russell and his wife Sally Britton, of West Bridgewater; grandchildren, Andrew Blanchette, Annelise Fillion, Thomas Fillion; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Harold Britton, Dorothy Williams, Gertrude Boyle, and Jean Lathrop. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 9th from 5-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, with a prayer service to be held at 7 pm. Burial will be held at a later date.
