Hazel Provonche Obituary

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Hazel M. Provonche, 96, of Middleboro passed away peacefully on August 5th. She was the daughter of the late John D. and Helen B. Shaw of North Carver, the loving wife of the late Dana F. Provonche and the mother of the late Dale F. Provonche. She leaves behind her sister Florence Jordan; her granddaughter Sarah M. Cuny and husband David; grandson Patrick D. Provonche and wife Pamela and her two great-granddaughters Kaylynn E. and Alexis F. Provonche. She also leaves many loved nieces, nephews and family behind. Hazel was the Head Administrative Asst. to the clerk of Superior Court in Plymouth, MA. She retired after 22 years of service and moved to Florida. She then joined the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and volunteered until her 90th birthday. She traveled extensively, including two tours to Europe. Her favorite destinations were the rainforest and Switzerland. Hazel enjoyed her time spent with her great-grandchildren, card playing friends, poolside games of Scrabble, planting in her beautiful garden and having tea with loved ones. Graveside services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro.
