Harold Dunham Obituary

OBITUARY: (LAKEVILLE) Harold Lincoln Dunham Jr., aged 88 years, longtime resident of Lakeville, died on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Nemasket Health Care Center, Middleboro. He was the husband of the late Emma L. (Reed) Dunham, who predeceased him on October 21, 2010. Born in Lakeville, he was the son of the late Harold L. and Sarah Olive (Reed) Dunham. He was a graduate of Middleboro High School, class of 1943. He served in the United States Army, during WWII, and was a P.O.W. in Germany. He was a retired postman for the Middleboro Post Office. He was a carpenter. Harold was a member of the Lakeville United Church of Christ, as well as the Middleboro 4-H. Harold was also a member of several golf leagues. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia S. Stelmach of Raynham, Cheryl J. Timulty of Randolph; two brothers, Ronald Dunham of Lakeville, Robert Dunham of ME; a sister, Barbara Berry; three grandchildren, Gregory Stelmach, David Stelmach, and Kerry Timulty; 3 great-grandchildren, several nephews and nieces, including, Jane Reed of Middleboro. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 19th from 10:30-11:30 in the Lakeville United Church of Christ, Precinct St. Lakeville, with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon in the church. Burial will take place in Sampson Cemetery, Lakeville. In lieu of flowers, donations to: The Dawn A. Reed Scholarship Fund, c/o Rockland Trust, 30 South Main St Middleboro, MA 02346, would be appreciated. Arrangements are being handled by the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleboro.
