Gloria Horton-DiBlasi Obituary

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Gloria Horton-DiBlasi, 85, of Middleboro MA passed away on June ,19 2018 peacefully with the love of her dearest family members. Gloria is survived by her loving husband John J DiBlasi Jr, brother Joseph DiCicco, son Lee C Walden, daughter Maria W Labonte, three granddaughters Jennifer J Sharitt, Rachel A Fitzgerald, Sara R Fitzgerald, grandsons Tyler Walden and Zachary M Labonte, two great grandchildren Betsy and Carl Sharitt Jr., and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was born in Roslindale, MA and was a part of a large family of 2 bothers and 4 sisters. She loved having tea parties with her granddaughters, planting flowers in her garden, going dancing with her husband, baking, and sewing. Gloria truly lived her life to the fullest, spending time volunteering, traveling, and always having time to sit with family members for a cup of tea and some wisdom. Her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 21st from 4-7 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday, June 22nd at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St. Middleboro. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy, MA.
