Glenn L. Griffith, age 81, of Middleborough, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at his home.
Born in Middleborough, he was the son of the late Harold & Virginia (Paquin) Griffith. Glenn grew up in Lakeville, and was a graduate of Middleborough High School and of Defiance College in Ohio. In 1962, he enlisted with the U.S. Army and served for two years during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, Glenn worked for many years as a Sales Representative for Consolidated Brick in Avon, Massachusetts. In retirement, he drove cars for AutoMotion in Middleborough, where vehicles were reviewed and reported. Glenn would transport vehicles all around; to various states around the country. Family and friends were important to him, he treasured those relationships. Glenn loved to golf, fish and go camping on Cape Cod during the summer months. He enjoyed travelling and driving his Dodge pick-up truck. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Mitchell Club, both located in Middleborough.
Glenn was the beloved husband of the late Jacquelyn C. (Zilonis) Griffith; loving father of Stephanie White & her husband Brant of Wakefield, RI, Kimberly Griffith of Lakeville and Larry Griffith & Lee Whidden of Middleborough; devoted grandfather of Ashley, Patricia, Kendall, Michael, Julian, Jackson and Joel and great-grandfather of Anthony; dear brother of Wayne Griffith & his wife Janet of Middleborough and Gail Mason & her husband David of Halifax and uncle of several nieces and nephews. Glenn is also survived by his loving companion, Louisa Brown of Middleborough.
Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
All are welcome to the funeral service in the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 10:00 AM.
