George Crawford

OBITUARY: (BROCKTON) George Carol Crawford, 83, of Raynham, formerly of Middleboro, died on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Braemoor Health Care, Brockton. He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Fleming) Crawford, who predeceased him in May of 2012. He was born in Tell City, Indiana; son of the late Clarence and Mary E. (Huck) Crawford. He served in the United States Navy, for 20 years. He was a member of the May Flower Lodge A.F. & A.M. Survivors include a son, George C. Crawford Jr. of Middleboro; two daughters, Kathleen Crawford of Middleboro, and Debbie Sullivan of Bridgeton, ME; a brother, Ronald Crawford of Indiana; three sisters, Margaret Williams, Nelda Crawford, both of Indiana, and Doris Ludwig of Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Enos, Michelle Sullivan, Barry Sullivan, Sarah Crawford, Jacob Crawford. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 1st from 6-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 10 am in the funeral home, followed by burial with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 11:15 am.
