Francis Tees Obituary

OBITUARY: (PLYMOUTH) Francis A. Tees Jr. passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the company of his longtime companion, Marilyn and his family. He was born October 15, 1927 at home in Middleboro to Frank and Lottie Tees. He was the husband of the late Margaret Easter Tees. He graduated from Middleboro High School where he was captain of the football team. Following high school he entered the service in the Coast Guard and was stationed on the USCG Cutter Ingham. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Elks, the American Legion and was a communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church, Lakeville. He worked at First National Supermarket as a meat cutter after returning from the war. He then became a correction's officer at MCIB where he worked for 27 ½ years before retiring. He is survived by his longtime companion Marilyn Chartier, his sister Patricia Thorley, son Francis and his wife Leslie, daughter Margaret and her husband James, daughter Kathleen, nephew and niece Kevin Thorley and Patricia Yrasnki and their families, six grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. Calling hours are at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, on Thursday, July 21st 6 - 8 pm and his funeral service will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00AM at the funeral home followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro.
