Francis J. Brogan

Francis J. Brogan, age 101, of Middleborough, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleborough.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Thomas & Bridget (Lyons) Brogan.  Francis was a veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Army during World War II and honorably discharged.  For many years, he worked at the Middleborough Post Office at the front window, assisting folks with their postal needs and retired in 1983.  Francis was a member of Knights of Columbus and the Mitchell Club in Middleborough.  A pleasant, and easy-going gentleman, he will be missed by many.

He was the beloved husband of the late Caroline (Teceno) Brogan; and was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.  He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Private funeral and interment services will be held.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Nemasket Healthcare Center for the years of loving care and kindness extended to Francis and Caroline.
