OBITUARY: (TAUNTON) Elizabeth A. (Englehart) Thomas, aged 54 years, of Middleboro, died on Monday, July 3, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late James Arnold Thomas, who predeceased her in November of 2014; mother of the late Johnny Fontaine, who predeceased her in August of 2006. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Violet A. (Mahaney) Englehart. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Providence. Survivors include a daughter, Olivia Englehart of Middleboro; 5 brothers, Robert Englehart of York, ME, Kenneth and George Englehart both of FL, Patrick Englehart of NH, and Paul Englehart of Hudson, MA; 4 sisters, Virginia Grider of FL, Marion (Kelly) Green of CT, Madeline Englehart of NC, and Kathleen Englehart of Middleboro. She was sister of the late Michael, Richard, Edward, and Steven Englehart. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 99 Camp St. Providence, RI, at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 8th. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice.
