Eleanor Carriero Obituary

OBITUARY: (MIDDLEBORO) Eleanor M. (Trinque) Carriero, aged 94, lifelong resident of Middleboro, died on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Golden Living Center at Oak Hill, Middleboro. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Carriero. She was born in Middleboro, daughter of the late Dennis and Blanche (Smith) Trinque. She worked as a printer for Bay State Specialty. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro, and was a member of the Sodality of Our Lady, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Michael J. and his wife Nancy Carriero, of Middleboro; a daughter, Teresa and her husband Scott Thompson, of Bridgewater; a sister, Beverly VanHouten, of FL; two grandchildren, Alicia and her husband Gregg Bergeron, of North Grafton, Brittany and her husband Brian Silva, of Middleboro; a great-grandson, Spencer Bergeron, of North Grafton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was sister of the late Theo, Louis, Gerald, and Lawrence Trinque, and Shirley Prinzo, Virginia Trinque. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 16th from 4-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday, June 17th at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Martha & Mary Church, Bedford St. Lakeville, at 10 am. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations to: The St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, PO Box 1381 Middleboro, MA 02346.
