Elaine M. (Machado) Lemmo

Elaine M. (Machado) Lemmo, age 74, of Lakeville, died peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, at her home.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony & Adeline (Pedro) Machado.  Elaine grew up in Raynham, attended Taunton public schools and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Class of 1966.  Her lifelong career was devoted to working as a line technician inspector for components at Raytheon Technologies for over 40 years.  Elaine loved being near the water, and found great peace being near the lakes.  She enjoyed gardening, painting and photography, taking pictures of her family.  Elaine liked trying her luck at the casinos too; especially the slots!  She truly loved her family, particularly her loving and devoted nieces and nephews.

Elaine was the beloved wife of James Lemmo; dear sister of Daniel Machado & his partner Joanna Smith of Taunton; dear sister-in-law of Joyce Morse & her husband Robert, Michael Lemmo & his wife Donna, Joseph Lemmo & his wife Rose and the late Richard Lemmo and the late Joanne Lemmo.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her very best friend Donna Crandall & her husband Gary.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 4:30-7:00 PM.

All are invited to her funeral service at the Ashley Funeral Home, Middleborough, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM.

Interment services will be held at a later date.
