Dorothy M. Greene

Dorothy M. (Bennett) Greene, of Middleborough, wife of the late Kenneth R. Greene, Jr., passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the Nemasket Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Greene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved to laugh, joke and sing her favorite songs.  She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends, and watching her favorite games shows.  She also loved taking road trips and spending time at her camp in Maine.  She taught reading in the Middleborough school system and tutored in surrounding towns.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her devoted sons, Kenneth and wife Tracy of Lakeville and William and wife Jane of Milton; a brother, Brian Bennett of North Carolina; sisters, Marcia Erickson of Raynham and Anita Bennett of Plymouth; grandchildren, Myles and Sally Greene and Julie and Jenny Greene; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 9:00-11:00 AM.

A FACE MASK MUST BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.

Graveside services will follow at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, 515 Plymouth St., Middleborough, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 11:30 AM.
