Doris P. (Barriault) Lemmo, age 104, of Middleborough, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the Hannah B.G. Home in Middleborough.
Born in Pembroke, she was the daughter of the late Leo & Alice (Hudon) Barriault. Doris was a graduate of Whitman High School, Class of 1935. She began her working career at Sears, Roebuck & Company as an Assistant Manager, and later became a partner with her husband Anthony M. Lemmo, in Tony Parker's Restaurant, formerly located on Route 44 in Middleborough. After the restaurant, Doris became a co-owner and co-operator with her sister, Loretta McGunagle, of Doretta's Dress Shoppe, formerly located in Middleborough for six years.
In 1973, Doris moved to Sebring, Florida, where she resided for 25 years and moved back to Middleborough in 1998. She continued to vacation in Florida every Summer. Doris was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Middleborough. In later years, she made her home at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in Middleborough, where she made many friends. Doris was loved and will be missed by many.
Doris was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Lemmo; loving sister of Richard Barriault of Lake Worth Beach, Florida and the late Loretta McGunagle; an aunt, cousin, and friend to many, all of whom she loved dearly.
