Donna L. (Holmes) Finneran

Donna L. (Holmes) Finneran, age 75, of Middleborough, formerly of Wareham, died on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her home.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William & Lorraine (Mallon) Holmes.  Donna grew up in Wareham, attended public schools and was a graduate of Wareham High School, class of 1964.  She then continued her education and graduated college with a cosmetology degree. Donna worked in the restaurant industry as well, for local places such as the Golden Spur, Riverside, and the Fireside Grille until her retirement.  She enjoyed traveling on vacations somewhere tropical, including the Bahamas, Hawaii, Mexico or anywhere with marvelous weather!  Donna loved going to the beach, especially her annual "girls week" trip to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. She adored spending time with family, along with the children in her life.  Donna will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Donna was the devoted mother of Brian A. Dimond and his wife, Becky of Taunton; loving grandmother of Brittany O'Brien and her husband Rob of Connecticut, Danny Mercure of Rhode Island, Kalan Norman and his wife Elena of Taunton, Brianna Ferrara and her partner Jameison of Somerset; great-grandmother of Giovanni, Adrian, Collin, Gabriel, Wyatt and Paislee; dear sister of Cindy Cobb and her husband Brian of Lakeville, Susan Holmes of New Hampshire, Jeffrey Holmes of New Hampshire and her longtime companion of 28 years Jim Keohane of Norton; and the late Brad Holmes, William Holmes, Frederick Holmes as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to her Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 2, at the Middleboro Elks, 24 High Street, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Donna's family would like to extend their gratitude to Old Colony Hospice for their excellent service and care.
