David W. Reilly, 74, of Center Harbor, New Hampshire, formerly of Somerville, Massachusetts, passed peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

He was the son of Joseph W. Reilly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Lucy Mary (Greene) Reilly of Somerville, Massachusetts.  David was a graduate of Somerville High School and Salem State University.  He went on to pursue a successful career in public service; first for the City of Somerville, then for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

David served for many years on the Board of Directors for the Battleship Massachusetts and Battleship Cove, Fall River, Massachusetts.  David’s father, Joseph had served on “Big Mamie” during World War II.
